The next Lithgow Musical Society production will Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast“
Auditions for this production will take place on July 9th and 13th at the Union Theatre
Casting is open to anyone from high school age and up
Auditions for lead roles will be on Thursday 9 July 2026 and Monday 13 July 2026. We will be auditioning for the following lead roles:
Belle*, The Beast, Gaston, Lumiere, Mrs Potts, Cogsworth, LeFou, Maurice, Chip, Madame De la Bouche, Babette and the Village Girls
* NOTE To be considered for the role of Belle you must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred times:
Thursday 10th July from 7:30pm: Belle, The Beast, Gaston, Mrs Potts and Lumiere.
Monday 13th July from 7:30pm: Cogsworth, Babette, Madame De La Grande Bouch, Lefou, Chip and Maurice.
If you are unable to make the required audition date, please let the production team know and we can work something out.

Auditions will be assessed based on your performance, your suitability for the role and the effort taken to prepare and your commitment to the Society.
Auditions are only required for solo roles.
You do not need to audition to be part of the chorus.
